Who we are

PearlHelix is a systems and advisory business registered in Bangladesh (pearlhx.com). We run this assistant for our own demo pages, such as the PearlHelix Demo Shop on Facebook, and for businesses that use it to answer their customers. Contact: info@pearlhx.com.

What we receive

• The messages you send and the assistant's replies.
• The identifier the platform gives us: your WhatsApp number and profile name, or the page-scoped ID Facebook Messenger assigns for one Page. The web demo uses a random session ID and no account.
• Anything you choose to share for an order or a booking, such as a name, phone number or delivery address.

We do not receive your Facebook password, friends list, posts or any other profile data.

How we use it

• Only to answer you, keep the conversation in context, and pass an order, booking or request for a person to the business you are talking to.
• The replies come from an AI model running on PearlHelix's own computers, and we don't use your messages to train any model.
• One exception, on our own demo pages only: when our main computer is offline, a reply drafted on our computers may be rewritten into Bangla or Banglish by Google's Gemini API before we send it. Phone numbers are removed first. Google may use that text to improve its services. Businesses that use the assistant for their own customers decide whether this is on; it is off unless they ask for it.
• We do not sell or share your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
• We keep anonymous daily totals, such as "demo chats today", to see whether the service is useful. They contain no message text and no identifiers.

Who else is involved

• Meta carries WhatsApp and Messenger messages between you and us; its own privacy policy applies to that.
• Cloudflare connects this website and the webhooks to our server and may process technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and secure them.
• The business you message receives the orders, bookings and hand-over requests you make, and keeps them under its own policy. On our demo pages, that business is PearlHelix and the orders are only tests.

How long we keep it

• Conversations are deleted automatically 30 days after your last message.
• Orders and bookings made on our demo pages are deleted automatically after 30 days.
• If a Bangla or Banglish message has to wait for our main computer, it is queued for at most 24 hours, then answered or passed to a person.
• Server logs record that a message arrived, not what it said.

Deleting your data

To have your data deleted sooner, email info@pearlhx.com with the subject "Delete my data". Tell us the Page or WhatsApp number you messaged and your name or number as it appears there. We delete your conversations, orders and bookings within 7 days and reply to confirm. You can also delete the chat on your own phone at any time; that does not affect our copy, so please email us.

Children

The assistant is meant for customers of businesses, not for children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, email us and we will delete it.

Changes

If this policy changes, we update this page and its date. The website's own privacy notice is at pearlhx.com/privacy.
